From the moment we arrived when Maria greeted us outside after parking our car, we had great experience at the Streete Retreat. Her and Joe are a great couple who are the epitome of old fashioned Irish hospitality. Lovely room, super breakfast (well done Joe). Very peaceful and tranquil house in a very quiet village. We ended up here after getting a flat tire on a Sunday afternoon. The owner arrived at the house within 50 minutes. He was very kind and helpful. The room is perfect for two people. Both the room itself and the bathroom were nice and clean. It’s a great place for anyone passing through!

Easy check in and checking out. Responsive host who went above and beyond to make my stay smooth. Well stocked essentials and very comfortable bed. Well heated house and spotless bathroom. Enda gave me a ride 3 times to and from work as it was difficult to get a taxi on my specified times. I will therefore be coming back as it is a home away from home. Grateful

We had a lovely couple of nights staying at Abbeyview with Susan. It is particularly well-located near the Royal Canal. Breakfast was very good, including a plate of very nicely presented fresh fruits. It is a short walk to the nearby pub for evening meals.

It was a beautiful house with a pretty view. Nice and quiet during the night. The rooms were really pretty, clean and well decorated. Beds were comfy and bathrooms were spacious. Everything was spotless and the hosts were very sweet and told us stories of the house history. All in all a very nice experience and I can definitely recommend this to others.
