Okta was exceptionally helpful and made our stay both enjoyable and productive. A good breakfast was provided every morning. Since there was no hot water, the host family kindly warmed up water in a large pot for us whenever we needed it. The location was perfect for us, as we needed to reach the eastern coast and Selong. We had an amazing time in Selong.

Staff were really friendly and welcoming they made sure I had everything I need for my stay. The owner also gave me opportunities to meet his friends and family and also to teach at a local school which was a great experience. I would highly recommend muni’s bungalows( one in masbagik or lendang belo) for both family and solo travellers. His English was very good which made the stay even more nice, he offered me tea and coffee everytime I saw him, which went well with his delicious breakfast.

The location was great, very close to the waterfalls and beautiful scenery within the rice fields, you can take a walking tour to the monkey forest and waterfalls. The food in the cafe was so incredible and the staff were kind. Cute little bungalow.

I loved staying at this place! 😊 The room is very pretty and clean and the bed is super comfortable. When you get up in the morning you are in the middle of green and you hear the relaxing sounds of nature. The food (breakfast/lunch/dinner) is incredibly delicious and one of the best meals I have ever tried in Indonesia and also very affordable. But the best was the owner Opik: an incredible kind and funny person who could tell me so much about Indonesian culture, religion and food. I felt welcomed from the minute I arrived at this place. I also took two trips with him, both of which were very beautiful and very affordable. His family and friends are also incredibly friendly and he has two puppies that are super cute. I would recommend staying at this place to everyone!

Bruno, the wise and gentle grey and white cat, and Tristan, the playful and energetic orange kitten, quickly became part of our family. Roby, a truly exceptional staff member, made our experience even more memorable. His infectious laughter, intelligence, and passion for Lombok's natural beauty were contagious. He guided us through breathtaking rice fields, cascading waterfalls, charming local villages, and the enchanting black monkey forest. The food at Alora House was simply divine. Both breakfast and dinner were a culinary delight, with fresh, locally sourced ingredients and expertly prepared dishes. The bungalow itself was impeccably clean and comfortable, providing the perfect retreat after a day of adventure. Overall, our stay at Alora House was an immersive and incredibly positive experience. We highly recommend this gem to anyone seeking a tranquil and authentic Lombok getaway. We can't wait to return and reunite with our furry friends and the wonderful staff at Alora House.
