Staff very friendly, quick response time to things like Aircon tripped, need buggy to go to lobby. the beach and pool areas were clean and well attended. Great location.
Peace and quiet. Place was huge, had plenty to space to walk around/cycle, see fruits trees and some water activities. Sort of private beach and view of the bridge was nice (seaview room).
If you want a quiet relaxing place, this is definitely it. The landmark Barelang bridge is a short walk away. In fact, I can see the bridge right from the balcony of my room. Shuttle to batam central ferry terminal is available. It's best to check with the hotel to reserve a seat.
We like that Harris is located far from the city centre, with resort like characteristics and features. Although it was far, the driving time is only about 30 to 45 min to the city.
One hotel reception staff (Chinese lady) was very helpful and recommended many attractions. Many staff were trainees, which is fine.
The beach club and large pool was excellent. Great view over the private beach to the water. Decent bar area and nice food in the restaurant again with a great view and sunset. Very nice gardens and landscaping. Polite and pleasant staff all through the resort. The garden view room was a good size.
