Mentos was really helpful throughout our stay. He arranged boat tours for us at reasonable prices and the tour was so amazing that we decided to go on the same tour the very next day although we hadn't planned to do so.
As for the room, the bed was comfortable and the room had AC, which was great since it was pretty hot while we were there even though it was rainy season. There was also more than enough space to hang our clothes and wet towels.
Similar to all the other reviews, breakfast was also amazing. I looked forward to the fruit platter each morning.

Amazing place overall! Pretty Comfortable rooms and easy to meet other travellers. Mentos is an amazing guy, he arrange a nice tour for us to the 17 islands and then made a cake for my birthday that we enjoyed at the homestay with a couple of bintangs.

Enjoyed 4 wonderful nights, enjoying their hospitality and local knowledge. The food was wonderful with lots of local produce. The activities of cycling, and particularly the kayaking up river was great. Excellent cold beer. Plenty of homemade electricity, but very little phone service or wifi which was very refreshing.
