Excellent location about 10 minutes away from Padang. After spending some time in the traffic of Padang, it is refreshing to get there and admire the ocean from the terrace. The family running the business is lovely and willing to help with anything needed. The price is very honest. 5 minutes walk from the property there's a nice bar with a restaurant.

My stay at Air Manis Hillside Villa was truly delightful. The natural beauty surrounding the villa, with its lush gardens and stunning sea views, made for a serene and relaxing experience. The villa itself blends seamlessly with the environment, creating a peaceful retreat.
A special mention to the staffs - Herwin, Rivaldi, and Andika who made the stay even more memorable. They were friendly, approachable, and incredibly helpful. Their local knowledge and willingness to assist added a personal touch to the experience, making me feel welcomed and well-cared for.
One suggestion for improvement would be to trim or remove some of the bushes that currently obscure parts of the sea view. Doing so would enhance the overall experience and allow guests to enjoy an unobstructed view of the beautiful surroundings.
If you're looking for a getaway that combines nature, comfort, and excellent service, Air Manis Hillside Villa is an excellent choice. Highly recommended!

Very friendly staff, so helpful and charming! The room was very clean, good bed, good WiFi, nice place to sit outside. It’s close to the center but just outside all the busy traffic, so very quiet.
It is all about location, location, location. The view is exceptional. Room was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. Nice bed. Robert was a great host and super helpful. The homestay is still relatively new, but he's been in the area for years and knows it very well. Took a one day tour with him and a few other guests. It was fantastic. Things, culture, people, and places I never would have found otherwise. Wish I could have stayed longer.
It is nice and quiet, and Rivaldi is a great host. He made sure we had everything we need. We stayed in the rooms, which are spacious and charming. personnally I really enjoyed being able to do some yoga in the morning on one of the plateaus outside. Also, the sunset is amazing from here.
The staff also put in effort to prevent the food to be too spicy for my mom, which was much appreciated. We had a great stay here.
Staff so helpful and some are ecellent English speakers. Location by the river. Dorm beds very large/private. Quiet dorms/corridors. Terrace great with superb views. Tea/coffee/cold water, aircon throughout. Good restaurants/shops nearby.
quiet little homestay just outside padang with amazing sunset views. rooms are simple but clean. Robert is a great host, providing information and pick up service from/to airport/ferry. they also rent out a scooter to explore the area.
