Our stay at Bamboo & B was truly extraordinary. This hotel makes childhood dreams of staying in a treehouse come true, offering an amazing connection to nature. The rooms don’t have traditional windows—walls are open with curtains instead. At night, you fall asleep to the sounds of nature, and in the morning, you wake up to stunning views of rice fields.
The breakfasts are delicious and very filling—we fell in love with the pancakes. The hotel staff is friendly and incredibly helpful. They gave us plenty of tips for planning our trip to Ijen, helped us rent a scooter, and provided gas masks.
A charming bonus is the hotel’s fluffy residents—the cats. There are plenty of them, all well-cared for and super friendly. If you’re lucky, one of these adorable felines might even visit you in your room.

We stayed here for one night to visit the Ijen volcano early in the morning. Everything was perfect: just amazing hosts , clean and nice decorated room, delicious breakfast, beautiful area. Our only regret is that we didn’t have enough time to spend there. Thank you very much.
