The hotel is very new, and while the room itself is not huge, it is clean and comfortable. Quiet too. There's free drinking water, instant coffee and tea at the reception. The AC is nice and strong, the bathroom is also clean with a shower curtain separating wet and dry areas in the bathroom, with great shower pressure and hot water. It looks like almost all rooms are ground level with a window that opens internally to the hallway, but it's not really a big problem. It is the new hotel by the same owners as El Ora. While it's not easy to walk to the central part of Labuan Bajo, they rent out scooters for 100K. It is close to the airport, the taxi ride is less than 10 mins so it was super convenient for an overnight.

I definitely recommend this place! Joan, the host was simply wonderful, not only welcoming but also very nice and helpful. He took us to a warung by bike on the first day as we didn't have our bike yet. He nicely accepted to keep our bags as we were road tripping around the island and helped us with a lot of different things. He also appreciated the few suggestions we had to improve the place as its a new homestay and made some changes within a few hours ... I have nothing but positive things to say about this place.
We even had fresh fruits in the morning 😌

This hotel offers everything if you are not dependent on excessive luxury. The city center is easily accessible on foot. The staff are all super friendly and very helpful in organizing any request. They also all speak English extremely well compared to other accommodations we stayed in during our stay in Indonesia. In the evening the atmosphere is very homely and full of life - you can have a drink at the bar while someone sings on the guitar and children play together. Still the night's rest is respected. Highly recommended!!!
Danke lodge is not in city centre. But that is good as it was super quiet. They offer pick up and drop off any time of the day everywhere you need to go. The breakfast was served anytime we wanted (most days around 6 AM).The room was super clean. We stayed there for six nights and our room was cleaned every two days. Staff was super friendly, polite and helpful. Great thanks to everyone in the reception!
Stunning views from a very quaint, charming spot. Lovely breakfast and atmosphere, peaceful views and spacious room. Staff here were so lovely, informative and so accommodating and polite. Right by Paradise Bar also so a very quick spin home after great live music.

First, the staff is absolutely nice and caring, I was sick for 2 days and they took care of me.
The rooms are spacious, with AC, private bathroom with hot shower.
