Beautiful guest house in the middle of the jungle with beautiful bungalows and surrounding lands. We loved the hospitality of our hosts Ericka and Marc and all their staff. The food cooked by Rico was amazing. We ate there every night. In the surrounding area, we also enjoyed the walk through the villages and rice fields. Every member of the family was so generous and helping.
They came to pick us up at 5am, let us early check-in, and gave us a lot of nice attention.
They organized our Ijen Volcano trip amazingly good.
The breakfast was really nice.
They also organized our transfer to Bali and brung us to the bus station for a cheap price.
The room was pretty dark, but in this case, it was perfect as we needed to sleep during the day, and it was really quiet.
Juda Homestay is such a beautiful place! The rooms are simple, but clean and the bed is cozy. The AC was working perfectly! The terrace is enchanting with all the plants. Juda was a great host and organised our tour to mount Ijen. Staying outside the city center had the advantage that we had the most beautiful walk to the train station through some rice fields.

Hotel staff was very hepful, recommended 24 hours clinic nearby, when Puskesmas across the street was closed. We needed health certificate to access Ijen crater. The staff also lent us umbrella since it was raining everday
Relaxed and quiet place, great hosts, nice beds and good airco. Room was clean. Hosts were always available for support and to tell us all about Indonesia and Banyuwangi area.
Very good value for money. The host can arrange tours to for example IJen, Baluran and snorkeling tours, prices are very acceptable. And they have bycicles you can use to explore the area.
Excellent location for climbing the mountain, very close to the train station.

The host and vibe at this place was great. the host did everything he could to make our holiday the best time possible. he brought us everywere we needed to go. the ferrry , the harbor for a boat trip to a deserted island and he brought us to a local fish market to eat some fresh fish from the barbeque. We also had great company in the homestay. if you look for a cheap place with a great host and a nice vibe look no further than dannu!
