Szem's Guesthouse quickly became one of our favorite places to stay. It’s genuinely one of the most comfortable accommodations we’ve ever experienced, and the sense of relaxation we felt there is something we can’t emphasize enough.
What We Loved:
- The house is located on a quiet street shaded by towering chestnut and pine trees, providing a peaceful and serene environment.
- Parking is free and conveniently located on the street under the trees.
- The house’s courtyard features stunning pathways lined with flowers, also shaded by the majestic chestnuts and pines, creating a tranquil outdoor space.

- This place is ideal for groups of families, with or without children; we can’t imagine a more relaxing spot.

- The hosts were incredibly accommodating, allowing us to check in late due to traffic and providing an early check-out as well.
- The house is just 300 meters from the lake and 200 meters from the town center, which is bustling with terraces offering delicious meals for all tastes and budgets (including the largest wienerschnitzel on the planet 🙂).

Single room was great. Small but all you need with airco and own bathroom/toilet. Very clean. The hosts were very nice and although i only speak a bit of German (and no Hungarian) communication was no problem.

For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Perfect. Above average furnished 2+1 apartment with terrace. Nothing was missing at all. Ideal for a family holiday (300 m from the beach sa marina, restaurant and bakery next door). Private pool in the property. Large terrace with jacuzzi. Also suitable for the business meetings we had there.
Great location, new hotel with spacious room and quality finishings. Totally enjoyed the indoor pool and SPA area, which is opened from 9:00 to 18:30. Checkin is 24h/7, which is great if you are in transit. Breakfast was included and was good.
The staff is very friendly and well prepared. We had a wonderful dinner at the restaurant and the preparedness of the waiters was astonishing. Breakfast was awesome with a wide variety of different cold cuts, cheeses, hot meal options and fresh fruits.
We are grateful for the kindness and helpfulness of the receptionist (night porter. I'm so sorry I didn't ask for his name). Rare to find such kind people!! Very nice room,spacious, clean and quiet. We arrived late and had the option of ordering dinner to the room. (very fast service).

The location is quiet, so you'll get some rest. Town centre on walking distance with more bars and restaurants. Railway station also on walking distance (i.e. for a trip to Siófok). Free parking at the apartment.
