Zavala is a hidden gem in Hvar. We stayed 2 nights in Zavala and 3 in Jelsa, and I regret not booking this property months earlier! Unlike Jelsa, Hvar and Old Town this place is not crowded and there are not many tourists.
The host is pleasant, we arrived a lot earlier, at 9 AM and they already cleaned our room so we were able to come in at 9:30! That was awesome because we were very tired from all the driving during the night. The room was huge, and the view from the balcony was worth even more than the value we paid.
The place itself is very small, but not crowded, there is a lot of shade just minutes from the accommodation, there is no music, quiet place to relax and spend your vacation. For those seeking to party, this is not a place to visit, but if you are looking for crystal water, peace, and relaxation I recommend it 100%.
Also, all of the staff is great, they gave us ice from the restaurant and Vine opener which we did not have. Great service :)

Our family stayed in three rooms for three nights. The rooms are very nice and have a really large balcony with a stunning sea view. Breakfast was included in the room price and was very nice. The beach is only a few footsteps away and a lovely restaurant is around the corner. The owners are very helpful and friendly.

Great location accessible to the center, but at the same time during the noisier night events in the center we appreciated a quieter higher location. The apartment is very nice with a beautiful view of both the sea and the sunlit sky. We really liked the terrace with the swing. Amenities included items for cooking in the kitchen, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. The hostess was easy to reach and very friendly.
Very friendly owner. Exciting and very clean accomodation. Villa Riva is probably best place in town, directly at the harbour. Since the the area is closed for any private car traffic it's getting quiet in the night to enjoy a good sleep.
The apartment was well situated, only a 5 mins walking to the city centre, with a private parking space. The neighbourhood is quiet and safe.
The house was very clean and the hosts were extremely welcoming. They also left a plate of fresh figs in the fridge for us.
The apartment is comfortable and well equipped: just high enough above the end of the harbour to be quiet and to have a great view of the town and bay while being very close to the town centre, ferry, and beaches. The owner was helpful and considerate, making the effort to call to check on us after a thunderstorm had caused a local power cut, and making sure we understood access and where to park in the private gated car park when we hired a car.
Apartment is very clean and very modern, on a great location, just few minute walk from the city center in one direction and an amazing beach in the other. The host is incredibly friendly, always accessible and ready to make your stay most pleasant experience.
The appartment is cosy, spacious, with private new bathroom, big shower cabin, nice big balcony with garden and street view and with the shadow in the morning. Great location, 2 min. by foot to the center of Jelsa and to supermarket. Private parking space.

Apartment is located only a short walk from the riva (seaside), and all the hustle and bustle of restaurants, bars and shops. However, the location itself is super quiet and private. The room was cosy and clean, and Ivan was a great host. He helped me with my luggage, was there to answer all the questions and give me directions, and he even gave me a small parting gift (homemade rakija).
