This family run hotel was a delight. For people that appreciate the romance of historic properties that are not restored into blandness, this spot is for you. The price was outstanding for what the Nymph had to offer. We paid the nominal fee for Anastasia’s breakfast, and we were very pleased. We came into Salakos for the hiking the trails through the gorgeous rocky pine forests and the experience did not disappoint. The fact that a washer and dryer was available to us was so appreciated. If you love stunning vistas, are willing to rent a car, and you like to get away from the madding crowd, a trip to the mountains of Rhodes for hiking is highly recommended. And The Nymph Hotel can serve as the base for your adventure! One more point worth mentioning, the Salakos central square is lovely and there is a fantastic restaurant there.

Small, family run business situated literally across a quiet street from the beach, ideal for kite surfing or just chilling. The included breakfast offers a good variety and lunch, dinner, snacks and drinks are available throughout. The food is lovely and always freshly cooked, the owners are very friendly and happy to go the extra mile. Would definitely recommend.
What a wonderful stay!
The room was very comfortable and had everything you needed for a relaxing time. The hosts were very lovely and gave us recommendations for the area. The pool area was fantastic with plenty of sunbeds, shady spots, and even inflatable beds for the pool.
The location is great too – you’re close to the beach, and the area is nice and quiet. If you’re looking for a place to unwind, this is a perfect choice! 🌟

Location not in the centre (not in Rhodes), so good if you prefer quieter. Best to hire a car.
We enjoyed breakfast by the pool, the quiet surrounding, we could prepare some food, the room was well equipped and the bed very comfortable. And we were lucky and almost got the whole space for ourselves.
Nik was an excellent and very generous host, who brought us fresh fruit from his allotment every day. The villa was superb, with an amazing space outside too and adjacent parking. The village of Fanes was very characterful, with a shop and restaurant and super friendly locals. We had a fabulous holiday!
