Sofia and Achilleas have recently renovated their rooms to a much higher standard than is typical in Sougia. Everything is tasteful and works well, and the beds are extremely comfortable. They were really helpful in every way, and I can't recommend Lissos highly enough. We have come to Sougia regularly for over twenty years, and this is the best place we have stayed!

It was our first trip to Crete and the stay at Balcony Rooms made it a wonderful experience that we would definitely love to renew. The location was so great, allowing access to many known and unknown beaches. Close to the mountains for amazing views while driving around and access to surrounding towns. Both owner and staff were great! Very warm and welcoming we felt right at home. A special thanks to each one for this special experience as we celebrated our 1 year anniversary. I definitely recommend spending a few days at Balcony Rooms especially if you’re looking for a calm/quiet getaway on the south west side of the island. Very little presence of tourists and the local cuisine was amazing from both restaurants owned by them.

We like the honesty and kindness. Their attention and disposition. The rooms are simply perfect, clean and decorated by one of the owners. Magical spaces. The roof is super nice and special for reading. We practiced Yoga in the morning and you can enjoy a wonderful view of the sunrise. They speak, Greek, English, Spanish and Italian. Amazing experience ! Also the food of their restaurant is great
For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
The House is located only 3min drive to a number of beaches including Elafonisi, but in the same time is in a quiet area surrounded by olive tree orchards. By foot you can go to a couple of local tavernas for good food and drink. Hosts are very pleasent and you will be supplied with homemade olive oil, and fresh fruit. Of course the house is fully supplied with everything you may need and even more. We strongly recommend for families. When we return to Elafonisi we will definitely stay here again.
The beach is beautiful but has been ruined by sunbeds and amenities. It is no longer remote and private. It is over run with tourists. The accommodation was quiet as only one other place to stay at this beach. The pictures look nicer than the actual space inside. However, the outside is pleasant and quiet. The beach was much nicer early mornings and late afternoon as the hoards of tourists had left.
It was private. It had parking and smooth check in via lock box. Great location 5 min away by car from elafonisi. 2 min walk away from restaurants and mini market. Clean and fully equipped home.
Great location, 5 min. by car to Elafonisi beach, great quiet airconditioning, comfy beds, modern bathroom, kind host. Beautiful view from the balcony. A fridge and coffee in the room. Easy check-in. We were very satisfied. :) Definitely recommend.

Great location less than 1 km from the famous Elafonissi beach. You can easily go there by walk or use a car (it's uphill). The place includes restaurant, kids playground and a free parking. A mini market is just next to it. The rooms are behind the restaurant. The place is very small (with TV, AC, fridge, kettle, three glasses) with a tiny terrace. Ok for few nights. We took the place as a relatively cheap accommodation with a great location and spent most on time on the beach, so we were satisfied.
Everything was perfect. Perfect location in a quiet zone, great hosts who help with everything, best breakfast you can imagine, nice rooms, great pool where you can enjoy drink on the house. Just perfect. Thank you Maria & Nikos
