This is a wonderful place to stay if you wish to experience Crete as was before being overrun by modern tourism and development. The man of the house is mainly absent, taking care of their sheep. His wife runs the accomodations. Location is excellent for a visit to Zeus's cave. Rooms are small but have what you need. Dinner and breakfast was prepared for us as we asked, and were tasty.

The host was lovely and welcomed me with a hug when I was hot, sweaty and tired. She also phoned for a cab for me quite early in the morning, which she promised was no problem to her.
Location is perfect to the best swim spot in Ag.Nikoloas. 30 metre walk and some stairs to a swim.
For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.

Very stylish Boutique hotel for Design lovers. Amazing infinity pool with endless views over the blue sea, nice private beach (be prepared that the water is chilly is a cold river from the mountain runs into the sea, quite refreshing), amazing staff and great food. “Paros” is the best suite for couples, great terrace and huge private pool with direct view of Agios Nikolaos and the sunrise in your bed room. Staff is super friendly and goes the extra mile.
The flat is really really awesome. Well designed, spacious and really quiet. Host are really nice and provides good advices about what can be done. Location is really nice to visit places around such as Krista, Plaka, Elounda and of course Agios Nikolaos :).
City center is close by and full of restaurants and shops.
If you like walking you can also be there by feet.
Location/view is breath-taking and quiet. Beautiful palm trees. Perfect breakfast with fresh fruits and all you can desire. Close by car to beautiful places, Agios and Elounda, and restaurants. Easy to find from the road with the yellow Sunlight sign.
Great location! Our room was fantastic, quiet, large, private pool, seaside view. We had half board included. Buffet for breakfast and dinner was quite good, fresh food, you can always find something at your taste. They have nice cocktails at the bar too. Wee tried also restaurants nearby, very authentic and cheaper, and couple of times in Agios Nikolaos center (20 min walk).
Great location. Quiet, short walk to all restaurants and with lovely views, right on the ocean. The family who own the place are really helpful and kind. Parking is not private but we could always find a space on the street nearby. We had the top floor apartment and it was huge, well equipped, airy and clean. Great value for money.
First of all, Fotini is a GREAT host, she give us all recommendations of places that we need to visit, around Ag. Nicolaos . location is 7 min walking distance from city center, and very quiet during the night.
We loved everything about this place from the comfort of the modern room with its great shower to the excellent breakfast which we ate on their front patio overlooking the harbour, served by lovely friendly staff. Our 7th floor room was at the back, so no view but very quiet (only two rooms on the floor). The hotel is dead centre in Agios Nikolaos, steps away from everything, with a free parking lot just meters away. It feels like a luxury hotel, all at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.
