For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
Beautiful views of the Pigeon Islands. Close to many great beaches and activities and restaurants. Pool was great and the neighborhood was calm and quiet.
We loved the privacy and the nature around the cottage - birds, gekkos and lizards are amazing, and the sound of wind and rain makes you feel you are camping (well, glamping). Everything is very clean, beds are wide and good (proper double, not the french double nonsense) and there are a lot of items in the kitchen etc - we were not short of anything. Obvs you need a car, but there is private parking. Plenty of restaurants, beach shops, fruit shacks walking distance away.
Amazing private villa in the beautiful garden, secluded but just a short walk from all the restaurants, shops and beach. Anne and Xavier gave us an incredibly warm welcome and went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful while respecting privacy of our home-for-the-week. We will be recommending and hopefully returning to Rêve Et Alizé.
Amazing views, great location with lovely friendly and helpful owners. Easily walkable to the natural thermal baths (bains chauds Thomas) and also down to a small jetty where you can snorkel directly in the sea. Studio had amazing views of the sea and sunset directly from the balcony. Facilities were great with a pool and a small bar where the owner makes delicious cocktails from 6.30 each evening. Good location for exploring Basse Terre and going to Malendure for the turtles.
everything was perfect. the bed was very comfy and the location very calm and peace. Pascal and carol were very welcoming and charming. I will definitely come back here if I do another trip to Guadeloupe !
The guest houses are set in a beautiful tropical garden with a pool area. The property has its own access to a natural swimming area in the river. From the hammock on our Veranda we could watch the banana quits and 2 different kinds of hummingbirds. The setting of each house affords the guests complete privacy. The owners welcomed us with Planters Punch and fresh fruit. They were always available and ready to help or answer questions. Their restaurant recommendations were very good ( esp the Sunset B!)
Well organized bungalow with independent entrance. Complete privacy and quiet all around. The host was kind: we met him both at the check-in and the check-out.
