The owners were over the top sweet and helpful. They took the initiative to arrange outings, glacier, castle, church for me. The meals were substantial, home cooked and yummy. The chocolates with tea were a nice touch. Too bad I did not have my moka pot and Lavazza with me. Toasty room and comfy bed. Large shower room and separate WC. Very clean. I loved the hamlet with all the towers. The cows nearby were very accustomed to being talked to and petted. Mountain doggies were certainly some of the best guides.

A great location in the historical site among old towers and buildings. There are no modern buildings within this village and it creates a perfect atmosphere. The hotel is a cozy nice styled old house with 2 guest rooms and cafe. Very delicious food in cafe with European breakfasts and Georgian cuisine. Nice owners and big kind dog :)

This stay was perfect after doing the trail from Mestia to Ushguli. The owner is a very sweet lady, who makes delicious food. Our bed was comfortable and the guesthouse’s location was perfect. There is a nice yard overlooking Ushguli, where you can hang out and enjoy food and beverages. In the café, which is right in front of the guesthouse, you can order breakfast, lunch and dinner for very affordable prices and even pick up a little bag of Svanetian Salt in the end. We are rested, well fed and happy!

Rooms are minimalistic, but clean and charming with the mountain view and the sound of the river in the backyard. Staff is very friendly and accommodating, but if you don’t speak Georgian it’s explaining with the hands (works as well 😀). They have a nice terrace for their café, that is just nice to spend some time in the sun or shade (as desired) and observe the Ushguli-life in the streets (like e.g. cows being milked). They also offer a place to park your car.

Great place to stay in Ushguli, delicious breakfasts, of course with warm khachapuri. Great location with a wonderful view of Ushguli and Sahkhra Glacier. Very comfortable beds in which we slept very well. The owner Maya was very helpful, she quickly arranged a cheaper transport to Mestia for us when we found out that our driver was not coming. I highly recommend :)
