The place itself is awesome as it was located in the private area of Shekvetili far from any main road. If you have been to Shekvetili, you know, that is is a family zone packed up with small hotels and crowded with many-many people. Our house was far from any of that action close to the forest, deserted beach, jungle and farm animals. In the good weather it is just a dream come true as I wanted to travel solo and wasn't looking for any extra communication.
The private house feels like home. First of, my neightbors were sweet and chill people who I was easily getting along with. There is a common area with a kitchen and living room but I could easily spend time alone in the park on the territory and the terrace — relaxed and isolated. Nobody bothers anyone. Also there are many things to share — beach umbrellas, coffee, tea, potatoes and dishes (and even kids' toys).
The special thing about this place are the hosts who are not only helpful but truly care about the well-being of their guests and are generous by nature. For ex, one night when I couldn't find a transfer, Maya organised and cleaned for me a separate room for free and called me if I can be expected at night. And Georgy bought a dog food for me in Batumi, as there are no pet shops in Shekvetili at all.
The whole area is deserted and silent by night with a small 24/7 store 10 min walk and a cafe. But you need to keep in mind — there are no night restaurants around, though taxi for 5-10 lari can take you to a place working at midnight. All "fun" is in Kobuleti or Batumi and the road to Batumi is long and draining because of a poor infrastructure. So nobody comes here, and for me it was a relief.
I also want to mention a FANTASTIC SHOWER, which is so special for a marine village. The whole room is well-equipped with a good mattress, good cotton towels and beautiful pieces of furniture. Also there is a huge balcony where I worked and chilled at night listening to birds and cows.

The room is so comfortable, everything one needs is there. I stayed a full month in May (off season) in the downstairs studio. The location is just perfect = not too close to the busy town and not too far. The beach is lovely and clean. So many cute shops, markets, bakeries, restaurants right near the apartment. Of course in off season most were closed but they started opening in the days before I left. Lovely family. Always available to help. Wi-Fi worked great - the apartment has its own modem. Air conditioning worked great. Well equipped kitchen, sturdy furniture and a sitting place outside on the patio. I felt very much at home there and walked everywhere. Bolt and taxis are available and there are many buses passing too. Many free outdoor gyms are available on the boardwalk/next to the sea. The local area is also great for solo women travelers. All of Georgia is, but İ was walking all over the area (about 10km a day) and no one bothers you.

The location is excellent - so quiet and peaceful, no big hotels around and further away from the village so it feels like you have the beach to yourself. And the sunsets are exceptional.
The staff is also very friendly and helpful.
We loved our stay. First and foremost the staff was amazing - Inga and her husband took so good care of us as if we were there family - always there, smiling, being kind and taking care of our comfort with a big smile :) We also loved the whole location with big forest garden just for us right at the beach and hammocks to lie on. Waking up with the view of the forest and the sea was amazing. And the beach is great - sand and no stones with not so many people. So it all felt very luxury and private. We’d come back again anytime!
I liked great location the most, right at the sea. Second best was quiet conditioner. Finally, the territory is nice and had all necessary for me, such as parking, some tables and chairs around. Also great location with a 24/7 shop and great cafe nearby in the season (7th June-15th September).
