The property owners are very nice, kind, and polite people. The place itself is right next to Rabati Castle and walking distance from pretty much anything you want or need. The beds were comfortable and the breakfasts (at this point in time 10/2024 included) were delicious.

Lovely family run house. I had large room at front which included access to the family wash machine in kitchen. Daughter and young teenage son speak English. Large fridge just outside room in hall. Bathroom is small and you can seat on toilet to have shower. No stall or curtain but hand held and hot strong stream once it warms up. Screens on windows and lots of heat when -3 at night. Would stay again

Great place and recently renovated. The room was very cozy with nice new furnishing. The room has a waterkettle, tee and coffee. The Bed was comfortable and very clean, for us the best one for very long time. The rooms have a very nice old wooden floor which makes a nice atmosphere. It has two big windows so it is very bright in the room. There is also a nice common space with sofas like a living room in the middle of the different rooms you can rent, features with a fridge (mini bar) and good WiFi. The restaurant is also very nice, both inside and outside in the beautifully made garden. The menu ranges from sushi, soups, Asian noodles, pasta to pizza & burgers. It also offers vegetarian and some vegan options.

Good location close to the beautiful fortress and not really far from old city center with restaurants etc., charming guesthouse in the back part of a the estate with a wonderful small garden terrace where you get an excellent breakfast, next are the ruins of an old Turkish bath; nice and helpful landlady who speaks English
Amazing stay at Old Town Akhaltsikhe as always! I've stayed at this lovely place before and its forever my go-to place when traveling in that part of Georgia. The owners are very friendly and very helpful - also great people to chat with! It's very close to the fortress. The room is very quiet and I had a great night sleep. Finally last but not the least - I could park my motorcycle in their private courtyard which is always very welcome. It was perfectly safe there.

It is very quiet and lovely place near Rabati Castle. That place got so satisfying patio, where you can enjoy beautiful mountain and city views. It was especially beautiful ar night, with warm lights and the sounds of the birds. Recommend Rabat Funicular, with its charming atmosphere and hosts. By the way, It is 2 minute road from the castle, so you can go there easily and get free parking.

Great location just below entrance to Rabati Castle and opposite a couple restaurants. Our ensuite room was at the front of the house, very private and lovely and warm (we were there in the middle of winter). They also offer a good value taxi service (by the family's son) to nearby attractions such as Vardzia and Khertvisi Fortress which we used. Breakfast offering was good value including tea, omlettes, fresh bread, cheese, salad.
Great location, 5 mins walk to bus terminal and rabati castle, clean toilet and bedroom, spacious, and quiet environment. Thick blanket, heater, small kettle are provided.
Me and my fiancee really enjoyed staying here, the owner is an absolutely lovely and charming woman. We were traveling with my dog and for it was of an absolute importance that the dog can stay with me and in my case the owner has kindly allowed us staying with the dog. The location is great, in the very center, super close to the fortress but in a quiet area, so we had a great sleep.
