I was contacted by Sam (owner) to ask about arrival time so he could make sure he was there for my arrival and he was there when I arrived later in the evening.
The property is sat within well kept grounds and looked amazing. Sam led me to my immaculate room and talked about the facilities and breakfast.
The room was spacious and had a large en-suite, which again was very well presented.
I messaged to provide my order for breakfast and this was cooked to perfection using local produce.
Overall, I can’t rate this property high enough and will definitely look at this property first if I’m back in the area.

We liked it so much we went back for a second night to break the journey back home. The staff do all they can for you! It’s a great set up with the rooms and your own outside seating. There is a pool and a room with a hot tub which was fab! Pub meals are available at the on-site pub with a lunch and dinner menu. A simple breakfast was included with the option of a cooked breakfast for a reasonable fee. We were too full from the pub dinner meal of the night before to have cooked breakfast.
Dogs are welcome guests which was brilliant!
If we’re in the area again we would stay again.

For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Pointers Guesthouse is very well situated. We very much liked the quiet surroundings. The hosts were very friendly. Recommendation for a restaurant on saturday evening was superb. We had an excellent breakfast. The ability to charge our car during night was perfect.
