This is our second time staying at Woodlands Farm, and is quickly becoming a yearly tradition because we love it so much. Jane is the perfect host. The setting of the cottage is just beautiful. Very cosy especially this time of year with the log burner and Christmas decorations.
Wonderful recommendations on where to go for food.
An exceptional breakfast, everything was perfect. Thank you very much for having us again. See you next year. Charlotte x

When we arrived the room was warm and we found the beds to be very comfortable. Everything we could need was provided. The breakfast included more than we expected, both in variety and quantity. Jean, our host, was very friendly and willing to provide anything we may have needed. She also recommended the best places to eat in Botley.

Cracking pizza, very comfortable room with a good bath for sore joints after a long walk. Brilliant boot-drying machine. Helpful staff with tips on SDW.

The staff were very attentive and friendly, the room was very well maintained. The food was very well presented and excellent. Can’t fault the staff as a member for breakfast didn’t turn up and the young lady that does the house keeping could not have been more helpful and really looked after us.

The room was well equipped, the bed was very comfortable and came with some lovely extras. It is in a great location with easy access to the motorway. The staff were excellent and made our stay even more enjoyable. This is a special little jem in a quaint location.
Lovely farmhouse and our own private well stocked garden with seating. Own access doors to the excellent self contained ground floor suite. The owners recommended a few good local pubs for dinner and even gave us a lift home late in the evening. Great breakfast to finish our stay. Can’t recommend highly enough!
Breakfast was amazing, hosts were so lovely and attentive and have us some recommendations to visit. The gardens are beautiful, perfect place to visit for a quiet getaway.
Quaint quiet English country garden, peaceful and plenty of birds to watch whilst enjoying a tea on the patio. Great facilities - you’ll want more than a single night!
Great location - 20 minutes from Portsmouth centre yet it was lovely and quiet in the countryside. Lovely hosts, brilliant breakfasts and nothing was too much trouble. Very large room with great facilities
Paul and Jane are an amazing couple and were so accommodating.
We needed a well earned break and this exceeded our expectations. Cosy, quiet, quaint and calming.
Along with the tea, coffee and hot chocolate was a big jar of amazing cookies, perfect when cosying up in front of the fire.
The breakfast was amazing. It's worth the stay just for the breakfast! We've never had such a full English!
Thank you both, we will definitely be back.
