Burnside was ideal for our short stay whilst driving the NC500. The rooms were lovely, spacious and had great views out onto the rolling fields. The hosts were super friendly and welcoming, and very communicative. The rooms are also dog friendly and the dinner / breakfast service was fantastic. Would def stay again.

Impala Guest House, hotel in Wick

Set in Wick and only 11 km from Sinclair's Bay, Impala Guest House offers accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. The guest house is 33 km from The Castle Gardens of Mey.

The guest house offers a code access system with the details emailed to the guest on the day of arrival. As I didn't have access to email that day I rang the hosts and asked them to text the info to my phone which they did immediately. I then had to call to tell them I would be slightly later than 9pm and the host greeted me on arrival and we had a pleasant chat. The guest house is in a decent location with some parking facilities available. The rooms were all given quirky names which was good fun and mine had everything I needed for a comfortable one night stay.

We stayed here for 3 nights in June. Our host was extremely friendly and helpful and gave us lots of ideas for places to visit. The town of Wick has a fascinating history and a wonderful museum which is highly recommended. We enjoyed visiting the distillery and a variety of other places in the area. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and good value for money. Having parking just opposite across the road was very handy.

A little noisy upstairs with residents who were very heavy footed. Could hear most of everything said and done but after they left it was all peaceful again

Drumdry is perfectly located just outside of Wick and in a great location for the whole of Caithness. The cottage itself is quiet, secluded and secure. It is also a very high spec and had everything we needed for a weeks stay. It was warm, cosy, and very comfortable.
