Julie was terrific, friendly, helpful and made the most amazing breakfasts. We were made to feel so welcome, lovely quiet spot in the best part of the island.
For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
For a Bed and Breakfast establishment this was excellent. Everything you could wish for was provided.
The room was wonderful and the location is beautiful.
Having stayed in quite a few B&Bs before this is the best by far.
We enjoyed the location- quiet and tranquil and still offering public footpaths nearby. We were happy there was a French press as we are not fond of instant coffee and we enjoyed reading about the history of the place. It was a perfect base for exploring the island.
Fabulous location in the middle of agricultural land. First aid kit. Torch. Washing line. Evening supply of logs for log burner. Large smart TV. Family games. Clothes horse. Ample comfortable furniture. Books. Extensive information booklet. Beautiful decor. Effective heating. Small private garden. Amazing country views. Enormous bathroom toiletry bottles. Fully equipped kitchen. Eggcups!
Just excellent in every area. Comfortable, warm, cosy without feeling cramped in any way. Great facilities, good private parking, and the hosts had really good communication throughout. If/when we come back to the Isle of Wight, we probably won’t hesitate to stay here again.
