We stayed in 2023 for one night and received such a welcome we decided to return in 2024 for two nights. The welcome and friendliness of the staff is outstanding. The food is plentiful and delicious, the accommodation is beautifully clean with attention to detail, as if nothing is too much trouble. Ripley is a nice village with some good shops so the location is good and parking wasn't a problem. Pub itself is OK with some good real ale available.
For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
We received a very warm welcome from Helen who showed us the room and explained the facilities. The bed was very comfortable and we had a good nights sleep as the room was very quiet. The bathroom was well equipped with plenty of towels and toiletries. The beverage tray was well stocked with various teas and coffee options.
Everything was just perfect, Helen was the perfect host, everything thought out well and was prepared for every eventuality, very nice quiet location ,room was absolutely spot on ,would definitely recommend to anyone,thankyou Helen
