Lovely, quaint old building with plenty of character. Good selection of beers and ciders too! Price reflects the minor issues and would definitely stay again

Location was great for our section of The Ridgeway walk. Excellent service and food. We booked a table which helped as they were busy. Room mostly comfortable and quiet except at closing time when kegs were being rolled around! Breakfast excellent.
The communal areas were lovely and spacious although I did not use them.
The single bed was very comfy and I liked that there was a window right next to the bed as I like fresh air.

Last minute decision for an overnighter & found this ideal for us. Nice & quiet overnight. Staff very helpful and a good private car park. We took the English breakfast and that was excellent.
