The room was great, bed very comfortable , spacious bathroom with good shower and there was even a walk in wardrobe , space to sit and tea / coffee available. Our host was extremely helpful and obliging , willing to chat and offer suggestions for place to eat dinner in the local area. She provided a good selection for our continental breakfast. Overall very pleased with our experience.

We travelled down for a new years eve party at the pub. The evening was well organised and food was fantastic. Shame the fireworks were cancelled but due to safety. We still enjoyed ourselves. The staff were truly amazing!! Already booked for next year!! So dog friendly it's unreal! Breakfasts are out of this world!!

The Crown Inn, Kemerton, hotel in Upton upon Severn

Boasting a garden, restaurant, bar and free WiFi, The Crown Inn, Kemerton is situated in Tewkesbury, 28 km from Kingsholm Stadium and 36 km from Coughton Court.

We have stayed at The Crown a few times now. The staff are always fabulous and go above and beyond. The locals are great, there was a power cut in the village on New Years Eve, but that just made the atmosphere even more enjoyable with the sing alongs via tourch light ha ha. Lovely food (thankyou chef) and a great selection of drinks. Rooms are always spotless. Wonderful little village with a cafe next door, the pub doesn't do breakfast, but we don't mind, as we can choose what time we want to get up. A dog towel and bowl were provided. Very reasonably priced and in a great location.

Such a lovely location! We had a wonderful weekend here and really enjoyed being in nature and seeing the wildlife around the lake. It was quiet and private but not too far from the local town. It was only a short time to Worcester too. We had everything we needed for our stay and would happily come here again!

Vey nice room decor, The Rag House has a great location directly off the main road but surprisingly quiet. The host was very nice and nothing was too much bother for her. The full English cooked breakfast was very tasty.

Beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable . Really comfortable bed we had a good nights sleep. Well equipped and within 5mins walking of the high street and still quiet. Plenty of places to eat and pubs by the river. Bedrooms downstairs with kitchen, toilet/shower and lovely lounge upstairs. Quiet courtyard area to take dog on lead as not enclosed. Plenty of parking in school just round the corner. Great location for access to Malvern hills and other walks.
