Exceptionally good B&B. Really good quality of furnishings and bedding. Spotlessly clear. Great breakfast.
Plenty of pubs and restaurants nearby.

I liked the olde worldliness and the pub was extraordinarily busy and full of lively people from the village enjoying a football match. I received a really warm welcome and the Landlord later came over and spoke to me and asked if everything was okay, which I thought was very good of him. A kind young man carried my bags up to the room for me. I was very pleased with my room, the size and comfort and the ensuite was really lovely too, although one of the lights on the mirror wasn't working. I had a lovely evening in the pub too; there was lots of dancing and a singer who did a great set. A perfect end to the day!

This is the second time we have stayed & everytime the owners couldnt do enough for us. As soon as we arrived we had a pot of tea made for us. Excellent
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
The menu was very comprehensive. The village is 1 of the quietist & quaintest we've ever stayed in.
We were extremely lucky that we landed on a Saturday when there was entertainment on !
Great location, with good private parking. Good breakfast. Room was a clean and good size, good shower (electric) and the two sash windows (secondary glazed) worked well. Large TV with a good choice of Apps (i player etc.)
Lovely quaint cottage beautifully presented with a lot of personalised touches that make the cottage very special. Even though it is on the main road the property is quiet and it has a garden that is very private.
I will stay here again I just won’t have breakfast, the rooms are very clean and comfortable and the staff were lovely. The village is beautiful very quaint, we ate in the pub on our first evening and had the pie, this was very nice both my wife and myself thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. The room was very quiet, hardly heard any noise from the pub and nothing after closing time the en suite was nice, clean and nice toiletries, very good shower hot and powerful and the bed was extremely comfortable lovely nights sleep.
Comfortable beds in a clean room. Ground floor - excellent.
Quiet in spite of being a busy pub.
Excellent breakfast with very friendly, efficient staff.
Great location opposite the Abbey.
Good free parking on site.
