It was exactly what I needed. A clean comfy (really comfy) bed, a nice hot shower, a sweet gentleman named Bob who shared the history of the building with me. A pub on the first floor. Plenty to eat around the corner. Perfect.

Whispering Place in the heart of Bewdley, hotel in Stourport

Whispering Place in the heart of Bewdley is located in Bewdley, just 20 miles from Broad Street and 20 miles from Winterbourne House and Garden.

The venue is located in a beautiful and quiet pocket of Bewdley, away from a main road and as such is lovely and quiet. It's a short walk to a few pubs and the Co-Op and only a few minutes walk across the bridge to the town itself. The house is very spacious and well furnished and highly comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need as well as space, the bedrooms and large and the beds are ultra comfy and warm. It took us a shot while to find the heating (boiler is in the laundry on the 1st floor) but once located the house was nice and warm in no time. Joanne is the perfect hostess and was in constant communication with me leading up to our stay, which was wonderful. If you're looking for a touch of class in this beautiful town, then this is the place to stay!

Wharton Park Golf & Country Club, hotel in Stourport

Surrounded by the picturesque Worcestershire countryside, Wharton Park Golf & Country Club is located on the edge of the historic riverside town of Bewdley, a 3-minute drive to the town center.

Location was good, handy for Bewdley. Views from terrace and breakfast very pleasant. Breakfast was ok but limited choice, no fruit, very limited continental selection. Cooked breakfast was ok. Bathroom was quite good and functional.

Located just a few miles outside Kidderminster, The Leaking Well was ideally situated for the function I was attending. The Staff were extremely polite when I checked in. I had my evening meal in their restaurant, the Indian menu was extensive and the food was excellent. The Full English Breakfast was great, although there didn't seem to be fruit juice, fresh fruit or cereal, if there was, they were well hidden. There is an actual floodlit well in the middle of the restaurant.

Very lovely house, immaculately clean with some welcoming touches eg milk in the fridge on arrival. Situated in a quiet neighbourhood, but close to the town centre, the canal basin and a large supermarket. Great Location for exploring the West Midlands and beyond.

The room was a pleasant sizeable en-suite that overlooks the canal. Very quiet and peaceful despite being upstairs to a pub. The pub itself is very old and quaint, and due to its location I think only very local or long term residents know of its existence.

The location is a pleasant walk from the shops. Stourport is interesting with lots of history. it has limited quiet parking. Decent sized TV The room was an ok size. A small but adequate bathroom for 2 but I wouldn’t like to think we were a ‘family’ in the family room we had. kitchenette handy and plenty of tea and coffee. Cheap but evidently for a reason
