Fabulous hotel on the shore with great views of the water, hills, and farms, reached at the end of a long, winding lane through sheep pastures. Lambs and ewes surrounded us (and occasionally had to be very gently coaxed off the road). The room was large, well appointed, with a terrific view. We had dinner at Redwood House every night of our stay and found the food excellent and the staff welcoming and great to talk to. This was a great base for exploring Skye. We really enjoyed our stay.

Lovely hotel in a great location if you come by car, because there is plenty of parking but it is just a short walk to the centre of Portree. The room was comfortable, if a bit small, and we had one of the'chalet-style' rooms outside, which was handy as we could park right outside the door. The breakfast was great and served to you rather than buffet style. We had a lovely dinner there on our first night and would have eaten there again but the kitchen was closed the next day sadly.

Lovely, clean, great breakfast. Beds were good. Shower was amazing!!
For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
It was close to most of the tourist spot of Isle of Skye. It’s a spacious white house with colourful painting that marched with furniture It’s a very quiet and comfortable holiday home.
Great location. Close to beach and museum's and a 30 min drive to portree
Close to staffins amenities.
Wonderful hosts. Very friendly.
Plenty space for pets as you can use the crofts to let them run about
More on offer than described such as access to the caravan for a private shower
The location of the property was excellent. It felt very private with its own gated drive and no other properties beside it. Plenty of outside space also. The location was excellent with the Quiraing range right beside it and also a great location for exploring the rest of Skye.
The views where outstanding and you could never get tired of them.
Inside it was clean, comfortable and well equipped and suited our needs for a busy walking and exploring holiday.
Great location for exploring the North of the island. Very quiet location. Fantastic views all round.
Cottage clean and comfortable. Fully equipped kitchen, WiFi. Sky. Home from home.
Cottage has a log burner with first nights supply . Logs etc can be easily obtained from most petrol stations.
Highly recommend this accommodation.
Superb breakfast - delicious porridge or cereal, fresh fruits, quality yoghurt, huge cooked breakfast, large cafetière of fresh coffee, toast, preserves.
Large comfortable bedroom with lots of drawer space. Donald is a genial host, Ben view has lovely laid back atmosphere. Stunning views from all the rooms. Great location for visiting the northern part of Skye.
Delightful and helpful hosts, excellent breakfasts, quiet, large and comfortable en suite room. The accommodation is not in walking distance of eating places but we ate at the Columba 1400 Youth Project restaurant just a few miles down the road in Staffin which was excellent - great food and staff. Do eat there! The accommodation is well positioned to explore particularly the Northern part of Skye which we did and enjoyed very much. We would like to return to Skye and would definitely stay again at Beinn Edra House.
It is a very charming, roomy cottage in a great location. Calum is a very friendly host. It is an ideal spot for exploring the island. It has a very comfy bed and ample space for hanging and storing clothes.
