Anchor House, hotel in Spilsby

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Anchor House is a bed and breakfast set in a historic building in Alford, 23 km from Skegness Butlins.

The friendly welcome and relaxed atmosphere. Also the guided tour of the hotel and the house rules on opened medication ( won't spoil the rules but are very funny) . Breakfast was lovely and you won't need to eat for the rest of the day. The owner could not do enough to help as we needed to leave early so said "we would not need breakfast" he was happy to make us breakfast earlier so we didn't miss out. So accomodating. Would recommend this hotel to anyone. Lovely big carpark.

The Inn Place, hotel in Spilsby

Featuring 3-star accommodation, The Inn Place is located in Skegness, less than 1 km from Winthorpe Beach and 2.9 km from Ingoldmells Beach.

The room was a little small but had everything we needed. It was clean, warm ( very important to me) had a lovely selection of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits. One small negative they were only a few hooks to hang clothes, this was ok as only stayed one night but if I was there for a week it would have not been enough (I always take a lot of clothes). Lastly the breakfast was lovely, hot and clean. The owner Barbara was very friendly and helpful. Would I stay again, definitely.

Heather and her husband were welcoming and friendly. the rooms were in an annex above the garages so were private and quiet. The facilities were excellent for families and there were plenty of places to visit locally such as the beach and Gunby hall. Heather seems quite green, using composting bags, eco washing up liquids etc which is appreciated

The accommodation location (once found after asking a local - on the day of our arrival there were many closed roads) was very quiet and quaint. There were only two of us staying and the size of the accommodation was great, but not sure if additional adults would make it less comfy. It was a good place to retreat to at the end of the day and we had a good stay.

Great location for exploring the Lincolnshire Wolds. I wasn't expecting much as the price was so cheap. I stayed during the week and booked a single room with shared bathroom but I was given a double with on suite. Nothing to dislike.

Lovely, charming cottage, the village itself is small and there is nowhere to eat or shop but within 10 min there are various shopping / eating facilities. The host is lovely, thank you for the cake and milk left in the fridge, also for the tea / coffee. Nice and quiet, rural area.
