It was well presented, clean and tastefully decorated. It had everything I needed, good to have a fridge, kettle, microwave etc The little extras, tea coffee, milk and toiletries etc were well received too thank you.
Access was easy and property very private and quiet.
Great hotel, we would come back in a heartbeat!
The place is beautiful, clean and in a great location. Even more important, The Clifton is definitely dog friendly. All three of felt so welcomed.
The rooms are lovely, spacious, and quiet when the windows are closed. We were actually able to relax properly.
We also want to say thanks for the tasty food and coffees at breakfast. Great start into the day :)
Clean, comfortable and spacious flat in a quiet residential street close to the lovely beach.
Had a great time reacquainting myself with South Shields, and touring from Cragside in Northumberland to the ancient city of Durham, plus the vibrant shopping and nightlife of Newcastle, all of which are in easy reach.
One of many high points was Beamish museum- fantastic!
Great location, it’s got great access to Sunderland Newcastle and Gateshead all a short distance and of course South Shields and Marsden are fabulous, friendly staff , excellent breakfast , great value for money , will be coming back soon
