Friendly staff made us feel welcome. There was some refurbishment going on but didn't detract from a lovely stay. Meals were spot on. We were given all the information we needed on arrival. Thanks.

The accommodation was in a perfect location, near to the town centre but in a quiet and nice side street, while the castle, canal and peaceful and pretty Skipton woods are very close. The room was cosy, well furnished/equipped and really comfortable. The owner was very accommodating when we arrived earlier than the usual check-in time. Would definitely return to the same accommodation on another trip to a really nice town.

This Pub/Hotel was the best. A reunion with friends of many years made it the perfect place to stay. Super friendly staff, and the food was exceptional!! We had dinner in the dining room that night, as we saw a salmon dish being served to a guest at lunch time and it looked delicious. Breakfast was a la carte. Fresh and wholesome. Well done Chef. A fantastic place for unfortunately for us) only a short break.

Hosts friendly & helpful
Location, quality of furnishings, privacy, quietness, space. 2 minutes from castle and town. We had the entire place to ourselves. Enjoyed having a separate entrance. We don’t usually stay in B and B , but this was on a different scale. Friendly welcome. Enjoyed the homemade shortbread and fresh coffee. It’s a unique find. Boutique is an apt word to describe it. Nice view as well. Would certainly recommend and return
