Terrific breakfast. One of the couple who operates the place is a professional chef. There was an elevator for my mobility-impaired husband, even though this was an historic old house, which usually doesn't have such a thing.

The people who run the place, they are wonderful. They did an outstanding job to make everything feel like you were visiting friends. It is a great space with the parking, cozy room, great seating inside and outside at the bar.....and come and go as you please. We booked a stay and a breakfast package and were so pleased with the room and morning meal as it felt like home. Great People and i loved everything about the Hawkenbury.

A cosy and clean studio unit with private decking, and a light breakfast provided too. We chose this location for its proximity to Sissinghurst.

Checking in and out was so simple, easy parking. The studio had all the facilities I needed and it was cosy and private.
My partner was admitted to Benenden hospital for surgery and was staying in for a couple of nights, so for me this accommodation was perfect, just 10 minutes away from the hospital. The hosts were lovely and helpful and available if you needed anything. I would definitely rebook.
Quiet and very clean bedroom with chairs, a small table, shelves, fridge and microwave oven/cooker in pleasant rural surroundings close to Benenden Hospital.
Serene, quiet hideaway, secluded from the main house. Spotlessly clean. The hosts have taken great care to ensure the studio is really comfortable and private. I had a very relaxing overnight stay and it was super convenient for my trip to Sissinghurst castle and gardens.
