Booked for my boss while he was away on business in the area. He loved the location. and said he would return with his partner. He had to divert on the way there and was scheduled to arrive after the kitchen had closed but he pre-ordered and a meal was arranged for him upon arrival. The staff were wonderful very helpful both with the booking, on arrival, and during our stay.The room was well proportioned, clean and quiet, with a very comfortable bed. Plenty of parking space and a great location. The breakfast portions were huge although we would have liked the selection to have included plain yogurt and some fruits and, unfortunately, the scrambled eggs were rather slablike and tasteless ... but the only complaint.
Location was fantastic. Very quiet and right in the centre of Shaftesbury. Private parking and secure. Very quaint and quirky cottage attached onto other old stone cottages in a courtyard.
