We were made very welcome. Our room was spacious, well appointed, comfortable and clean with great views across the Medway. The en suite looked like it had only just been finished, it was immaculate and, as has been said before, the breakfasts were lovely.

The landlord owes me 4 days rent. He took cash in hand after i booked with Booking.com he told me to leave with no notice at 9.00pm at night and i paid him till Monday. He took cash. The landlord Richard needs to be investigated as a landlord. i was letting people in he was never at the property to let in tenants sometimes 9 or 10pm at night. very unclean and he would turn up whenever he wanted to with his family. On one room no key to the door. Would not like you to have hot water or heating on. TV didnt work. i stayed there awhile due to no where to live i had no choice but a awful Bed and breakfast to stay at. I have text messages proving he owes me 4 days rent. He told me to keep it quiet from Bookong.com he didn't clean rooms properly very dusty in bedroom and would take away keys. porch key. i could have been locked in or out if given to another tenant. Awful place to stay...He needs to refunnd me 4 days money. Lisa oliver he knows who i am...

Pretty Maid House B&B, hotel in Rochester

Located in Kent, on the A20 midway between Sevenoaks and Maidstone, this luxurious guest house offers bed and breakfast accommodations with free Wi-Fi throughout and free parking on site.

Breakfast was excellent and custom ordered the night before. The view from our window to the back yard was lovely with bird feeders and lots of greenery. The hosts were very friendly, and helpful and knowledgeable about the area. They are less than three miles from the Great Comp Gardens which we really enjoyed. Pictures attached.

Very well appointed room, at a good price in a good location. The price can be cheaper than the Travelodge and the rooms are much better, so we usually compare before booking. We were in Room 102, lovely room which overlooks the rear, so very quiet.

Very comfortable room, and remarkably, bearing in mind City centre location very quiet overnight. The £10 per day parking fee is very reasonable considering the convenience and town centre parking charges.

Great very large room and bathroom, with huge shower and separate bath! Was clean and comfortable, also very quiet considering we were above the pub. Great location in the high street with lots to do.

Very well designed, constructed and featured room. Very comfortable and unusually quiet! Breakfast and dinner as you would expect from Wetherspoons. Not cordon bleu, straight forward grub and budget prices. Beer excellent, again as you would expect from Wetherspoons. No parking is available on site but there is a long term 24 hour Council car park about 8 minutes walk away, costing £6.50 per day (when we were there). But more unless you leave before 07:00 hrs. Still pretty cheap. You can drive to the front of the hotel and drop bags.

A charming old hotel, privately run at a great location. I stayed for 5 nights. The hotel doesn’t have AC but each room has a fan and that was enough. You get complimentary coffee, tea and milk in your room.

This hotel is charming and in the perfect location to explore the Rochester area. It is quiet, the rooms are comfy and clean. This is an old building, and privately run, and with that in mind, it is in excellent condition. But it won't be perfect, and I would encourage visitors to have reasonable expectations. If you do, this is a more than satisfying place to stay. Also, the breakfast was delicious and the dining room is lovely.

Great location, pleasant staff, quaint old historic building, extremely cheap. Is this The Ritz? Absolutely not. But for the £40 I paid, it was a bed, a shower, a TV, a toilet and tea and coffee. It does the job for the price, nothing more.
