Really olde-worlde place, beautiful little room, with fantastic view over the river and trees, amazing sunset, incredibly welcoming landlord Ray and landlady Janet, great tales of their travels in India, tasty authentic curry for dinner, very lively evening of local domino players, real sense of community. We loved it, will definitely return, and would recommend to anyone.

Nice setting, great location, ease of parking, great local information provided, relaxing stay. Attentive owners. Quiet just far enough away from road, breakfast was ok.
Breakfast was delicious fresh fruit and tasty full breakfast with local produce. Great location fab views and quiet. Large garden to sit out and enjoy once the weather improves Great large bedroom comfy bed and taseful furnishings. Hosts were fun welcoming and can't wait to return. Lovely Birthday treat, just wish we'd booked two nights away.
Jill and Richard were perfectly nice and welcoming; the property was very quiet and private; you have lots of space here; there is lots of light; the charming, moderately-sized garden is a pleasant place to sit out; parking is available if you have a small car that you can manoeuvre skilfully through a Very narrow passage; the heating system is simple and wonderfully efficient; the kitchen is well-stocked with essential equipment if you want to cook for yourself; and the shops and pubs are of course within a stones throw.
