It’s a nice atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We had a very good view of the maintain outside the window. The beer garden is quite nice, out the way. A roof for the rain so you don’t get rained on and can smoke outside.

It was nice and warm, with a homely feeling. The staff allowed me to park my motorcycle out the back away from the road. The room was nice and overall decent for the price I cannot really complain.

Jill and Richard were perfectly nice and welcoming; the property was very quiet and private; you have lots of space here; there is lots of light; the charming, moderately-sized garden is a pleasant place to sit out; parking is available if you have a small car that you can manoeuvre skilfully through a Very narrow passage; the heating system is simple and wonderfully efficient; the kitchen is well-stocked with essential equipment if you want to cook for yourself; and the shops and pubs are of course within a stones throw.
