We had an evening meal which was quite nice, though not cheap (we had to point out that they had charged us £5.00 too much for the wine). but it was soon rectified. The staff were lovely. The breakfast was very good

We stayed here as we were going to a wedding and the location was very convenient. However the property was very clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and the breakfast was excellent. We would definitely stay there again.

Host and hostess were extremely pleasant and informative about the area. Wonderful accommodation.
For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
Great location and was easy to navigate from motorways. Quiet room with plenty of space. Clean towels and linen were prepared in the room for arrival and a fan was supplied too. Tea and coffee provided. The price was also very reasonable.
The receptionist was very helpful and friendly, nothing was to much trouble. Loved the touch of dove soaps and shower gels , felt like a little luxury. Quiet room.
Excellent room. Clean, warm, quiet, private, large bathroom. Good shower. Tea & coffee making facilities. Easy safe parking. Adjoins a great pub. Meals in pub are excellent and cooked fully on site - not microwave reheats as in many pubs. Friendly atmosphere in pub from staff and locals.
Nice location
Private and quiet
Friendly and professional staff especially at Reception
Nice bar area and choice of food on menu although we only had a coffee.
Great location for a wedding nearby, plenty of parking and tucked away so nice and quiet. Really comfy bed, TV with Netflix and thoughtful essentials in the room (hairdryer, plasters and pens all came in useful!).
Helen (and Cookie!) gave me a great welcome and was on hand to help out at any time, but wasn’t intrusive in any way. The room and bathroom were clean and exactly what I needed for one night.
Would definitely recommend and rebook if I needed to spend any time in the area again :)
