For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
Fiona & Allan were outstanding hosts. The property is a great alternative to staying in St. Andrews; an easy short 10–15-minute drive. Also, there are two great small distilleries close by. The property was very clean, comfortable, and in a very quiet setting. They provided guidance to a great local pub and called ahead to book table for us for dinner. The breakfast in the morning was from their own farm fresh eggs and was amazing. Would definitely stay again.
This place was just perfect for our need. Fiona and Allan we great hosts! The check in was easy, Fiona took the time to explain everything and in no time we were settled in. The breakfast was excellent, a lot of choices, fresh fruits and all, prepared by Fiona, it was delicious and plenty. The place and the room were kept in top shap, clean and as seen on the internet site.
Fiona and Allan make you feel at home. Thank you for your hospitality, we definatly recommand your place.

This is one of the best bed and breakfast places my wife and I have ever stayed in. Everything was excellent from the location, the room and not least the hosts themselves (Fiona and Allan - two nicer people you could not wish to meet) and Fiona’s breakfasts.
We were warmly welcomed to Tarskavaig Bed and Breakfast by Fiona! The hosts could not have been nicer and friendlier. The room was fantastic, and the breakfast was the best we had in Scotland. All in all, it was a terrific experience.
Everything was perfect. What a welcome! Everything was thought of. Beds to sink into, spa bath experience - so relaxing. Booked as a birthday treat for my father. It exceeded expectations. We will be back! Fiona's breakfasts are wonderful. Such a peaceful place, yet super handy for St Andrews and the coastal trips. Best B and B experience ever. Thank you so much.
