Everything. Getting into the accommodations when we got there. The room to sit and relax. The rooms were wonderful and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. This is by far the best place we stayed in our 3 weeks in Ireland.

Everything, it’s a great location and very comfortable. It’s always a challenge to find a place to park in Portrush so the on site parking is a great bonus. We stayed in the main house, which the owners have sympathetically modernized, keeping the Victorian features but adding the luxury of modern en-suite facilities. I’ve stayed there twice now and on both occasions the welcome was very warm and friendly. Janice the owner kept in touch before arrival and provided great directions and information regarding our stay.

The Carrick was a charming, elegant, homely property. The host, Scott, was friendly, welcoming, helpful, and attentive, and went above and beyond in every aspect. He thought of everything a person could want or need to make their stay a positive and memorable one, from local toiletry products to a delicious breakfast menu and so much more. If I were ever in the area again, I would choose The Carrick in a heartbeat.

Such a lovely, clean apartment with everything we needed. The views are great from the living area and the bedrooms are spacious. It's in a great location with the harbour, beach, Curry's etc all within walking distance. Gordon is a great host who provided all the info we needed and is only a msg/call away. The guidebook is a great idea which we found helpful. We hope to be back soon!
Comfortable and clean. Great location, quiet but few mins walk to Portrush centre. We were lucky to get parking outside the door. Bunk bed room was spacious for 3 teenage children. Great communications from host. Would have liked to stay longer!

Stunning appartment with the best view ever! Fully stocked kitchen. Jo is a great host. Supplies like teabags, coffee and ice lollies for the kids supplied. Everything was within walking distance as it's right in centre of town but very quiet and peaceful. Loved having my morning coffee on the balcony looking down at the beach. Lots of info left in welcome pack for restaurants etc Can't wait to visit this appartment again xxx

Personally I did not meet Karen, but spoke few times on the phone. Karen is a great host, and any questions I have she more than happy to help. Me and my kids enjoyed our stay in the caravan. Great location, clean and comfy it's all we wanted. Definitely recommended to anyone who's are with young kids like me and like some private quality time to have together! We will be back!
