We booked Glyntwrog House very last minute when our original hotel plans were cancelled the day before due to unforeseen circumstances. Our frantic search for a nice place to stay as a birthday treat on Booking.com resulted in our decision to book Glyntwrog House and it certainly didn’t disappoint. The B&B accommodation is set in the most beautiful surroundings and its slightly elevated position allows for fantastic views.
Sean met us at the door and was immediately warm and welcoming. The house is lovely throughout and our room was clean, well-stocked and beautifully decorated. The B&B is close to local restaurants and shops and a great place to explore any walks in the local area. Sean’s cooked breakfasts were absolutely delicious, made from great quality and locally sourced ingredients. We are a meat eater and a vegetarian and he catered for us both so well. A very touching treat during our stay was a card and welsh cakes given very kindly by Sean and Mary-Ann to my husband on his birthday.
If you are thinking of a getaway to North Wales then definitely do yourself a favour and book for a stay here.

The location is just perfect, especially for those interested in hiking around. Breakfast was not included, but it was tasty and nicely cooked. The room was lovely, with a nice view of the bridge. However, there was the tiny issue that sometimes the noises from the pub bellow it would make sleeping tricky.

Great location for exploring the area, Property itself is of a great size and good value for money , with good kitchen, dining area and lounge on the ground floor. 3 good sized bedrooms upstairs, which could host up to 8 people, and a bathroom with an excellent power shower. A great self contained property.
