I am so happy because I chose Dove Meadow. The place and the people are amazing. And Poppy the dog absolutely stole my heart. I have never been to such a clean and cozy place before. I recommend it with all my heart.

Bit awkward to get in. Silly me didn't realise how the door opened (it was a latch type door) ... saying that though, staff were nice, welcoming. Room itself was nice. It had all old original features which I liked yet it had a modern element.
Slept quite well considering I don't ever sleep properly. Only difficulty I had was the stairs. I'm disabled on crutches and even though I knew there were stairs, they were little narrow so I took it really slow. That's not a gripe though as it again, is a normal old feature. Dont think it would be suited to a wheelchair user as even to get into the bar (where you check in) there are 2 steps.
Had food in the bar itself and it was delicious! My daughter polished hers completely (I'm not a huge eater). Nice portion sizes, and staff serving were great.
Overall, I liked it and I'd happily stay again.

The room was clean and comfortable, the host was polite and very accommodating, I had to request a check in change last minute due to public transport issues, which was no problem. Breakfast was generous and good quality. Can't fault anything.

This property is perfect for a family stay, clean, well stocked, cosy but spacious. It is tucked away in a nice quiet location, with a lovely balcony and some gardens to walk around. The host was fantastic, very friendly and easy to communicate with. During our stay she went above and beyond to help us with a couple of requests. Also have to mention the lovely jacuzzi bath and thoughtful hamper of goodies on arrival, thank you!
We had an absolutely lovely stay here. The location was quiet and peaceful, and the hosts gave us a very warm and kind welcome when we arrived, even offering to tumble dry our wet clothes for us! The room and en-suite were well equipped and had everything you need to make you comfortable, as well as being very clean. We had a great night's sleep followed by a delicious breakfast, setting us up well for the day ahead. We only stayed one night, but would definitely come here again if we were to return to the area.
Easy to find, only one u-turn! Met by a welcoming smile, gorgeous views and spotless room. We couldn't have asked for more. Our breakfast was more than we expected with delicious fresh fruit/berries, yogurt and then a cooked full English, ready for our onward journey ... no lunch required!! From the minute we arrived we were made to feel very welcome by the host, Louise. Our room was quiet, warm and very comfortable. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Our "full English" breakfast was freshly cooked and there was a selection of fresh fruit and cereals for us to choose from.
