From the minute we arrived to the minute we left there was a warm inviting atmosphere. The owners and staff were lovely..
The room was well decorated and spotlessly clean. We had all the facilities we required. The bed was comfortable which added to having a good night's sleep.
We eat there on both nights as the food was of such good quality and staff were very efficient and friendly.

Breakfast items were plentifully provided in each room, where the continental breakfast was self-prepared. A table and two chairs were in each room. Cereals, juice, milk, tea/coffe, fruit, bread, croisants and jams provided. Very enjoyable and relaxing.

John and Pablo were fabulous host! Provided wine in the evening, had a beautiful garden, elegant features throughout the house and breakfast. They were very friendly and charming. Would highly recommend staying here. Within walking distance of restaurants and sit to see.

For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
The property is in a rural setting, so very quiet, with off road parking. There was a lovely courtyard, ideal for sitting out if staying in spring/summer especially. The facilities in the room were perfect, nice hot shower, beautiful cotton bedding and tasteful furnishings with a window that faced onto the patio. The breakfast was delicious and brought to the room, which was a real treat. The hosts are so friendly and helpful, I would definitely recommend it and re visit if back in the area.
Had the most wonderful stay at Hunger Barn. Received a warm welcome to our beautifully presented room, luxury finish with a vintage vibe. Super comfy bed, amazing breakfast !! Will definitely return, highly recommended.
Great location! 100 yards from the village shop and pub. The locals were all friendly and welcoming. The cottage is directly against a road but it’s a quiet country road.
