There was no breakfast it was just a room for the night, booked at the last minute. The owner was cheerful and helpfully explained how to operate the room lock because I had not seen that type before. The bed was comfortable. I had eaten in the restaurant a couple of days before my stay and can heartily recommend a meal there.

The property is lovely, the room was spotlessly clean (and cleaned daily during our visit), tea,coffee, bottled water and biscuits in the room, breakfast was amazing with an awesome plate of fruit, and to top it off, David and Agnus were both very friendly and helpful. The location is great, not right in the middle of town, but close enough for a short walk enabling a bit of exercise each day! I would highly recommend Ponders End and we will definitely stay there again on our next visit!

This would have to be one of the best B&Bs with really friendly staff, good food and lovely surroundings. Clean and comfortable room and bathroom. Close to Newport and several local attractions.

Very welcoming, looked after our needs going above and beyond, especially with breakfast. Opened early for us as we were attending a funeral. Would definitely stay here again
