Lovely staff, homely down to earth pub, restaurant with rooms in a gorgeous quiet village but not remote. Fantastic view from Rm3 across Coquetvale/River Coquet to the hills/moors across the valley. Relaxing walk along the river. Even the locals in the pub were welcoming. The bed was gloriously comfortable too.

The room was exceptional, modern but with a nod to the old. The bathroom was way above average. The restaurant was one of the best we frequented on this trip and the breakfast was exceptional. The location was literally a couple of blocks from the side entrance to Alnwick Castle. Parking a bit tricky but we found a spot a street over. Might be tougher in high season. Easy walk into town where there were some nice little shops.

My wife and I were in Otterburn for a wedding so only stayed 1 night. The room was very clean and comfortable.
We were contacted by the owner on our way there to tell us that their hot water system had broken down and if asked we wanted to cancel. As it was only 1 night and we would be out most of the time it wasn't an issue. Nothing much the owner could do especially on a Sunday.

The guest house had everything that we needed in the room and it was comfy, and the location was close to the centre of Alnwick, which was great. It was possible to self check-in too, which was convenient. The quantity of breakfast was very generous, although there wasn't lots of variety.

Very welcoming hosts. Lovely room and great breakfast.
For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
Charming cottage in centre of village where all needs were well catered both by the accommodation itself and outside facilities.
Presentation was delightful and equipment was provided for everything one might need. A quiet and restful stay. Thanks for the Prosecco, and the mouse. We hope to return.
Delightful and comfortable little cottage that has been refurbished to a very high standard. Great location (quiet but within walking distance of lovely facilities - selection of shops, pubs etc)
Great Location very good, close to the town. Easy access to walks right on the doorstep. Good views over the hillsides. Good facilities, comfy and cosy, had everything we needed. Very quiet. Hosts were super friendly and welcoming. Would definatly recommend and revisit.
Very quaint settings. Christine who worked there was so helpful she went above and beyond during our stay. Lovely fresh cooked breakfast with good choices. Great location.
