It was a wonderful surprise. We didn’t realise when we booked, what an historic building that we were staying in - 1523! Very quirky, with its wonderful beams but kept to work with modern daily running. Lovely staff, everyone from front of house to restaurant & bar were so pleasant.

The Badger Inn, hotel in Nantwich

The characterful, 18th-century Badger Inn provides stylishly appointed accommodations, 5 miles outside Winsford, Cheshire.

We stayed for one night during the week. It was a very quite location. Due to having to leave at 6am in the morning before breakfast was available we did not choose that option so did not pay for something we could not have. The room was clean and décor was pleasant with a very large smart TV. Staff were pleasant.

Hosts had thought of everything to make the stay very comfortable. A lot of thought had gone to the accommodation. Each accommodation has its own private garden which was great for sitting with a drink in the early evening. Beautiful decor and spotlessly clean. Great location with several great wee pubs close by for evening meals. The Badger Inn which is a 45 minute walk along the tow path ( daylight only) and The Royal Oak. The Little Man also very friendly wee pub for having a beer.
