The welcome from the lady on reception was excellent and assistance was offered at any stage. Loved the whiskey by the open fire.

Cawdor House B&B, hotel in Nairn

Featuring a garden and views of garden, Cawdor House B&B is a bed and breakfast situated in a historic building in Nairn, 1.3 km from Nairn Central Beach.

Conveniently situated for my purposes. Nice quiet room at the rear of the premises. Basically furnished but nicely decorated. Double bed very comfortable. Whilst there was no en suite toilet the main bathroom, which was situated off the short outside corridor, was well appointed and contained good quality toiletries etc.

Altonhill House - room only, hotel in Nairn

Featuring a shared lounge and views of city, Altonhill House - room only is a recently renovated guest house set in Nairn, 2.6 km from Nairn Central Beach.

The room was lovely, easy access bringing everything in from the car to the room. It felt lovely and homely. We arrived a bit later than expected but it was super easy to check in ourselves and then we left early so it was also easy to checkout. I wish we’d had more time to enjoy the room! Nice location in Nairn, easy to get to the amenities. I would stay again.

It felt like a lovely bed and breakfast, everything one should be, so welcoming, tidy, and excellent breakfast! I haven't stayed in many bed and breakfasts for a while, but this one was so cosy, welcoming and put my faith back into what a proper bed and breakfast should be!

Absolutely loved our stay at Fonthill bed and breakfast. Janice was so warm, welcoming and hospitable. Felt like a home away from home - quiet, comfortable and cosy. Great bed and shower and the most delicious complimentary cooked breakfast. Great central location - 2 minute walk to 'one one two wine bar and eatery' where we had the most delightful dinner. Highly recommend staying here :) won't be disappointed.

Up for a 2 day archery competition a few miles away. Wanted somewhere close with basic facilities and good value just to lay my weary head. Delivered in spades with a single top floor room with private shower room/loo. To be fair, room/bathroom was small, but fine for a single traveller. Add in great staff and a couple of excellent breakfasts and I was very happy. Ate in restaurant too, very good. It's not luxury accommodation by any means, but did all the basics well. Overall, very happy
