A family run operation. Hosts friendly, approachable and went the extra mile for our comfort, for example, providing a shower mat and hand grip immediately we asked. Although immediately above the restaurant, there was no smell or noise coming from it. The room was clean, and the bed was really comfortable.

The property was super clean and in a great location about a 5 minute walk to the Center.
Real Ales, fine wines, superb food and a warm welcome await from your hosts, Sarah and Lisa. The interior retains an old world charm, with log fires, stone walls and oak beams.

The location was ideal for exploring the many surrounding villages - Snowshill, Broadway, Great Tew.

Although owners away we were made to feel welcome by very friendly staff, home made treats also enjoyed on arrival.
Advised also on a variety of dinner options, we were then able to enjoy a brief walk around the town and in fact decided to change our travel plans to visit some of the interesting independent shops and take in the amazing architecture. Our substantial breakfast well cooked so no room to enjoy a cream tea later. Also noted a lot of attention to detail to make your stay comfortable.

Very warm & cosy, quaint cottage. Excellent location, close to trains, bus stops, shops, cafes & pubs. Appliances were all clean & easy to use. The washer/dryer was very handy. Quiet cottage & quiet between the rooms. Bottle of prosecco & chocolates were a nice touch. We had a lovely time staying here.
Great location - cosy hotel with lots of history and period features - plenty of quiet areas to sit and relax and bedrooms well equipped - food was excellent and good value and staff were brilliant- great attention.
Beautiful cosy little quaint cottage
Tasteful Decor
Well equipped kitchen & we arrived to a bottle of Prosecco, a hamper with goodies in & milk in the fridge which was very appreciated
Gorgeous open fire with logs provided
Located in a quiet street and within walking distance of everything on offer in the village of Moreton in Marsh
Also close to Stow on the Wold & Bourton on the water (which is very picturesque)
Brilliant location , charming cottage with private entrance. Beds very comfortable and very clean and tidy! Great communication from the owner and overall a wonderful weekend getaway.
Great location and lovely quaint characterful hotel. Stayed there a few times now and I’m sure we’ll return again. Rooms very comfortable and spacious and the complimentary sherry was very welcome. Staff very courteous and friendly and food was lovely as always
Great location in the small, charming Cotswold town. Friendly staff, pub accommodation. Was reasonable value for money. Breakfast was good and filled us up!
Quaint, cosy, and great location for a weekend.
The rooms were modern and nicely furnished. Ours was in The Courtyard at the back of the building, so it was very quiet.
Breakfast had a great selection on offer.
Wr ate in the bar the first night as the restaurant was fully booked.
Moreton Cottage is a little gem. Exceptionally clean and comfortable, a charming authentic cotswolds cottage located 50 yards from the town centre. Close enough to walk to local restaurants, but nice and quiet as not on the high street. The cottage is well equipped, couldn't think of anything that is not provided for. It's is a great location for exploring other villages in the Cotswolds, has a local train station and plenty of places to park.
The host Tim and his wife were charming and most helpful.
The accommodation is within a lovely Cotswold stone building. The room had character with exposed beams and brickwork detail. It was very cosy and the double bed was very comfortable. It was remarkablly quiet.
The restaurant is welcoming and very popular even on a Tuesday night. My Green Thai Chicken was exceptional.
Overall a great location to explore the town and local places of interest, and indulge in outstanding Thai cuisine.
