We were met by the owner as soon as we arrived and she was friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable with good facilities and the breakfast offered was extensive. The location was quaint and quiet and within easy reach of the town centre. There was easy parking and access to the room. Moffat is lovely.

Really comfortable room,.. Arrived 9pm with nowhere open for food, friendly host Ruth made me some sandwiches. Slept really well.
Lovely bathroom and all facilities excellent. Leaving 8am so before the cooked breakfast included in the price was available..had a continental breakfast early but offered big plate of eggs on toast by Ruth.. Really great service for my visit.

I really enjoyed my stay here, the food was very good as was the setting together with friendly at tentative staff. My only 1 comment was that the room was a little small but was very comfortable and exceptionally clean with everything I needed.

Kirkview is a cracking place to stay in a great location with lovely views, a great host (John)and a great breakfast! Spotlessly clean, nice large room and private bathroom just across the landing which wasn’t a problem as the whole top floor was solely for our use. John is a lovely guy and couldn’t be more accommodating. Will definitely look to stay here again on our next trip to Scotland.
