Neil and Kay were such gracious hosts. They kept their home up to beyond hotel standards. They made homemade breakfast every morning which was a great start to every day. They really seemed to understand the balance between being available and having conversations as well as staying out of the way to allow for privacy.

Original room had no working power sockets and visually very tired and not overly clean. Replacement room in a completely different building away from the pub with what could only be described as a converted cupboard for a bathroom..totally unsuitable for anyone over 6ft tall. The stuff however were 100% and dìd apologies. Had it not been for them we would not have stayed there and found a local alternative place to stay.

Booked this for our anniversary and we weren't disappointed. We had a beautiful room, clean, spacious & very comfortable with all the mod cons. We also recommend having an evening meal there, great food! Breakfast was also delicious, I had the full English breakfast and it was very filling. Staff are also all welcoming. We'll definitely be back next year!

Location is quiet and restful.
Hosts very friendly and helpful
Dave & Sarah provided an excellent breakfast, much local help with where and what to do. Sarah went out of her way to give us a lift to a restaurant because it was raining. Both were very personable and made us feel at home. Great hosts.
Great location at the top of the village, ten minute walk into the centre.
Room was very quiet and comfortable with a powerful shower.
Continental breakfast was tasty and plenty for our needs.
Sue and Malcolm were very friendly and welcoming with lots of tips re the local area.
Great location - quiet yet walking distance to all the restaurants and to the SWCP. Easy checkin, easy checkout, clean room and facilities. Perfect break from walking the path and a great value for money given the prices in the area.
