As a working farm, the eggs were fresh and really good, the brown bread was substantial, the sausage and bacon(ham) was from a local butcher, orange juice that actually tastes great...
Quiet and Hostess did all sorts of extras for me and was very congenial.... making my stay even more pleasant.
The 4 Duck Feather Pillows on my bed were THE BEST PILLOWS I have ever slept on. I will not be satisfied with my 25 year veteran pillows at home ever again.... people should want to go there JUST to have the pleasure of sleeping with these pillows!!!
For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
Excellent location, nice quiet little village. Evening meal and breakfast were excellent, fresh homemade meals, using local produce. Excellent accommodation, clean and tidy with everything you need in the room. Staff were all very welcoming and friendly.
Kate was a lovely host, there to greet us when we arrived, not to forget Digger & Figgy. Made us feel very welcome. We were very surprised at the size of the accommodation, 2 large rooms and also given a sitting room, and a conservatory/diner, basically half of the cottage! Very, very rural quiet location. I would highly recommend this B & B to any friends or family or indeed would happily use again. Many, many thanks Kate, for contributing to make our weekend an unforgettable one!
Beautifully decorated and well equipped cabins. Hosts were generous in making sure most needs were thought of. Supplies provided went above and beyond those found in some impersonal, company run accommodations. Area was quiet and private. Sheep next door very friendly.
Absolutely loved mill cottage. Great location, Sophie is a great host, it was clean amd spacious and amazing value for money. The little touches were lovely, a fridge full of goodies. Water, orange juice chocolate. Cereals. Tea and coffee, fruit, crisps all included in the price. There was shampoo, Conditioner and a basket of mini toiletries also. Sophie even gave us a lift into the nearest village where we had a party and made us breakfast toasties in the morning. Would 100% recommend and stay here again.
