Breakfast was included. It was great. We asked gor things not listed on menu - a poached egg on toast and a bacon and mushroom sandwich - which they cooked up for us happily. The yoghurt and berries was like a knickerbocker glory - lovely.

Location was great and in the heart of Mersea with near by shops/ bars/ cafe's.
The room was clean and spacious, decorated beautifully inside.

Great location and friendly staff. Our room was comfortable and quiet, especially as it was on a busy road through the town. The bathroom was of a decent size and had everything we needed, with very clean towels. All the other facilities were good too.

Great location in central Maldon, plenty of parking. Friendly, welcoming staff. Great decor downstairs - lovely old inn. Room mostly quiet (earplugs were provided) & comfortable.
