The Fox and Goose, hotel in Lynton

With free Wi-Fi throughout and free parking on site, The Fox and Goose is situated on the edge of the beautiful Exmoor National Park.

Aden, the host was a very welcoming, and interesting host. The accommodation was simple, yet elegantly so. very clean, and with an eye to detail. Food was superb- duck breasts with a very piquant sauce, and saute potatoes to die for! Ale was well kept, and very quaffable. The atmosphere in the bar and dining room is warm and welcoming. Breakfast was the best I have enjoyed in many years. An affordable place to stay, right in the heart of Exmoor is difficult to find, yet this does it- Parracombe is a sequestered village with a slightly mystical atmosphere to it. And the Fox and Goose is a perfect base for exploring. I wish Aden and Craig every success.
